1. This is a UK based website and is for advertising vehicles for sale within the UK. Both the seller and the vehicle MUST reside in the UK. This is for your protection and you can report adverts that originate from countries outside the UK.
2. You should take care when contacting sellers, Ideal Wheels can not accept responsibility for failed or fraudulent transactions, however we will always cooperate fully with police and fraud investigators.
3. All adverts displayed on this site are created by other visitors to the website, Ideal Wheels does not own the vehicles advertised. The free services provided by this website are intended to help someone looking for a vehicle find a UK seller.
4. Adverts may be from private or trade advertisers, we have asked all advertisers to specify.
5. Vehicles advertised on Ideal Wheels are generally advertised in other publications also, sometimes they will share the Ideal Wheels logo on the images of all adverts. An active advert on Ideal Wheels does not imply the vehicle has not sold, however our database is cleaned out regularly and old advertisments are removed.
6. Ideal Wheels requires that all advertisers subscribe for each advert placed. By taking payment we can secure some details of the seller and keep this on record for upto three months in-case of investigation or complaint.
7. All advertisers on Ideal Wheels must verify at least two of the following three pieces of information before advertising; Electronic Contact, Pysical Address, and Payment via Credit/Debit Card.

Terms & Conditions (Advertisers)

1. This is a UK based website and is for advertising vehicles for sale within the UK. Both the seller and the vehicle MUST reside in the UK.
2. All adverts posted must be for the sale of a single vehicle. Other advertising offers may be available for companies and traders.
3. All images attached to adverts must represent the vehicle for sale, and it's condition. Irrelevant images and company logos may be removed.
4. Adverts must remain polite, and contain no profanity or offensive material.
5. Adverts have a subscription period of one fortnight when initially published. This can be renewed at any stage.
6. Part subscriptions are not supported, subscription renewal will repost the advert with a fortnight subscription only.
7. The most recently subscribed adverts will be shown most predominently on the public site, by default.
8. Expired adverts are stored and may be retrieved / renewed for upto one month from the last subscription.
9. Expired adverts and attached images will be deleted after 1 month from the time of subscription.
10. All adverts are vetted by moderators, action may be taken if adverts infringe on these terms and conditions.
11. Moderators will respond to all reports of copyright infringment and act accordingly.
12. Advertisers may be contacted and instructed to ammend adverts for minor infringments.
13. Where possible moderators will avoid removing an advert completely if infringments are located.
14. There are no refunds available if your advert is reported and removed for infringments to terms and condtions, UK law, or image copyright.
15. Our servers provide a 99% uptime guarantee, due to the nature of the Internet some loss of service occasionally is inevitable.
16. We cannot provide refunds for short periods of down-time, these losses of service may be caused by factors beyond our ISP's control.
17. If our website is unavailable to the UK for one week or more, all current adverts with 7 days subscription during the down time will be refunded.
18. Remotely linked images will display the Ideal Wheels logo to help protect your image from theft.
19. Contact details must be provided and verified (by payment or other method), prior to your advert(s) being published on the public search.
20. Ideal Wheels may promote the website and your adverts via third party websites, we try to include only active adverts however sometimes archive images may be used. These promotions, where possible, may be edited to not include your advertisement at your request.

Privacy & Data Protection

1. Who are we: Ideal Wheels is an independent website run by Thomas Poole (full details on request) and moderated by trustee's and long standing supporters of the site and services provided. Our mission is to provide a clean and safe environment for buyers and sellers to meet, and for advertisers to use a cost effective platform when selling vehicles. To achieve this we all believe that the site should remain family safe, and monitored for unscrupulous 'rogue' advertisers.
2. Information stored by Ideal Wheels (DPA Statement)
   1. Cookies and sessions: To aid the usability of the website, Ideal Wheels may save a small file called a 'cookie' to your web browser. This can be enabled or disabled using your browsers security settings. Sessions are also used occasionally to remember some of the settings that you choose when visiting Ideal Wheels. We will never request or associate personal details with sessions or cookies.
   2. Sellers Personal Details: We must collect and store personal / trade details of all advertisers on the website.The information that is stored includes name, address, contact number, and email. This information is stored for no more than 3.5 months from the end of your last adverts subscription.
   3. Payment information is not stored by Ideal Wheels, all transactions are performed using the secure services provided by XXXXX.
   4. Advertisers are responsible for proving their identity when requesting information from Ideal Wheels. The adverts manager code will be used as the first security question and advertisers must try to keep the code safe, and private. Failure to provide the managers code will mean that a email support request must be initiated whereby personal details will be used to verify your identity.
   5. All information is carefully stored on a secure database hosted on secure premises. We use industry standard server technology to ensure the safety of the information in our care.
   6. All personal details are stored for the purpose of running the Ideal Wheels website only. We do not trade contact details with any third party organisation.
   7. We may from time to time contact you with the details provided to inform you of promotions or new services that we are able to provide. You can opt-out from our internal mailshots at any time.
3. Secure Payments: Ideal Wheels does not have secure enough facilities for accepting sensitive payment details. For this reason we have employed the services of XXXXX who provide a secure interface for accepting payment via credit and debit cards in the UK. 4. Copyright
   1. Logos and banners remain the property of Ideal Wheels and the owners. They may not be reproduced or copied without permission. Permission may be sought by contacting the webmaster directly via our contact form.
   2. Images uploaded by advertisers remain the responsibility of the advertiser. In case the advertiser has taken the pictures and uploaded them from a private collection, the intelectual copyright remains with the advertiser. Ideal Wheels claims no copyright on the images attached to advertisments on the site.
   3. Some modification of the image will take place on upload, the edited image is not under any copyright, however the logo and anti-piracy graphics which are embedded remain the property of Ideal Wheels.
